I am a warm, empathetic and understanding counsellor; whether you are looking for short term therapy over a few sessions, or looking for long term therapy, I provide a welcoming, safe and real therapeutic experience. I'm speaking with you human to human, no robot responses or platitudes, just real therapy with real responses and genuine empathy. I bring my skills as a person-centred counsellor to every session. I support you to explore what is important to you, help you learn about yourself, your thoughts and your processes without judgement or expectations.

In crisis? I am not available for crisis support. It is important you get the right help when you are feeling in crisis. If you feel you are in crisis and you are in immediate danger or risk of harm to yourself or others, please call 999/NHS 111. If you are not in immediate danger, but still feel you are in crisis and require support, please call NHS 111 option 2 or the Samaritans on 116 123. You can also text shout on 85258.
Therapy can be intimidating and strange to begin within, even if you have had therapy before. It can be scary to approach a stranger, sit and talk about yourself, and share. My practice focuses on giving you that time and that space in safety and with understanding. I can answer questions you have about counselling and therapy, and explain how the process works without jargon or expectations.
The therapy I provide is person-centred counselling. Counselling allows you to talk about what you want to talk about, without analysis, homework, judgement, or pressure. We will explore thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, and I can help you untangle the confusion and knots that can come with feeling stuck or lost. We move at your pace.
Think of it like walking through a forest with no map, no compass, and no visible paths. I can walk alongside you, providing safety and care, pointing out paths and landmarks, while you decide where you want to go.
As I am trauma informed, I can provide psychoeducation on trauma and work with trauma-informed techniques within my counselling practice. I understand how trauma can impact our everyday behaviours, relationships, and beliefs, and I bring that awareness into our work together.
